About the Position:The Graphic Designer is a member of the Sales and Marketing team, responsible for research, planning and preparation of print, web advertisements, and promotional materials. They are responsible for creating designs according to specification and improving design tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:- Participate in the strategic planning for all marketing efforts throughout the year;
- Create engaging marketing collateral for multi-family residential projects including but not limited to plans, feature sheets, amenity sheets, brochures, and folders;
- Produce attention-grabbing print and digital advertisements that increase brand awareness and drive traffic, including print, social media, email marketing, and online advertising;
- Deliver attractive indoor/outdoor Signage design that is informative and accurate for sales centers, show suites, and construction sites;
- Create and export assets for web and social media such as JPEGs, PDFs, video, infographics, Illustrations, and other design elements;
- Collaborate with the team to generate content ideas for web and social media;
- Create brand identities for new residential developments, directing the use logos, colors, fonts, and taglines;
- Assist in maintaining website updates in multiple content management platforms including WordPress, Web guide, WIX, and others;
- Provide input and assistance as needed for the creation of new websites.
- Work with other departments to providing graphics for events, new product lines and corporate programs;
- Perform marketing coordination tasks such as show suite set-up/closings, inventory management, printing, and event assistance as necessary.
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Completed post-secondary diploma in Graphic Design or related academic field of study comparable to Canadian academic standards preferred.
- Three (3) to five(5) years of working as a graphic designer, possessing demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio required.
- Experience with design software and graphics editing software such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
- Knowledge of design techniques such as prototyping desired.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements ad multimedia design required.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software desired.
- A valid class five (5) driver’s license and personal reliable transportation is required.
- Criminal Records Check to the company’s satisfaction is required.
- A clean drivers abstract is required for the operation of company vehicles on public roadways.
- Manual dexterity is required to work with computers and peripherals.
