Job summary

White Canvas Design Agency seeks a talented full-time Graphic Designer to join our Langley studio. You will work on print and digital projects, branding, social templates and UX/UI design, with a must-have portfolio and 5+ years of experience.

Candidates must reside in the Lower Mainland of BC and be willing to commute to Langley office five days a week, 8 hours per day, within PST hours. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Design Certificate or Degree from a recognized institution.
• 5+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.
• Proficiency in preparing artwork files for production.
• Experience using Dropbox and Google Drive applications.
• Experience working on Mac platforms and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design projects for clients across diverse industries: print and digital.
• Develop branding identities including logos and visual systems.

Job Description

White Canvas Design Agency has an exciting opportunity to add a talented full-time Graphic Designer to our team. Hard work ethic, self-direction, creativity and a good sense of humour are an absolute must!

This position is a FT position and candidate must be located in the lower mainland area and be able to commute to our Langley office (C320-20178 96 ave) 5 days a week working 8 hours/day within the hours of 7:00am to 7:00pm PST (40 hours per week).

• Design projects for clients across diverse industries, encompassing:
• Print and digital advertising materials
• Marketing materials (including signage, printed collateral, tradeshow items etc)
• Developing brand identities (logo & visual identity creation)
• Social media templates
• Presentation materials and annual reports
• Website UX/UI Design
• Branding design, logo illustrations and experience working on large corporate branding projects
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to translate ideas into visually striking designs that meet project objectives.

Skills / Requirements

• Completion of Design Certificate or Degree at a recognized institution
• 5+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Proficiency in preparing artwork files for production
• Understanding of Dropbox / Google Drive Applications
• Experience working on Mac platform
• Is an excellent communicator in both written and verbal form
• Excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Has a positive attitude, is collaborative and works well in a team environment
• Has a passion for all things design
