Job description

As a member of the Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing and Communications Graphic Design Assistant will provide creative support for the CN Tower across various platforms, including print, social media, and other media channels. The intern’s responsibilities include supporting internal and external communication projects, as well as assisting with various departmental tasks. The role requires strong creative abilities and the ability to work independently while supporting the needs of the Marketing team. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer and communicator who is eager to utilize their talents to enhance the team’s overall brand values

Job Description

Contributes to team organization by assisting in the management of various media assets within the Media Valet software platform.

Create online advertising from current assets

Work on version of CNT menu (digital)

Assist with Photo Shoots

Under the supervision of the Graphic Designer will work on projects

Convert formats existing assets and utilized for projects.

Assisting with Digital Signage development

Assist with development of content for Social Media channels

Supports the team by orchestrating events and activities through our internal management platform.

Aids in the meticulous organization of internal documents and drives, ensuring seamless accessibility for the team.

Work collaboratively with team members to craft captivating social media posts inspired by their unique experiences at the Tower.

Monitor social media trends and suggest creative concepts for captivating social media content.

Monitor and document company reviews and maintain updated records accordingly.

Input CN Tower event listings efficiently through online public platforms. Plan and schedule social media posts across multiple online platforms.

Qualifications

Enrolled in or recent graduate of an undergraduate degree or post-secondary program in Graphic Design.

Proficient, with PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, AfterAffects and Premier (video editing)

Knowledge of formatting social media channels.

Proficiency in French is considered an asset.

Advanced skills in the MS Office environment and Microsoft Office Suite
