Graphic Design & Marketing Technician

Term, full-time

ASAP to May 31, 2026

Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Donor Relations, this position is responsible for maintaining the college's corporate identity. Responsibilities include communications, advertising, marketing, public relations, logo usage, and institutional branding. The role involves advising, conceptualizing, and developing graphic advertising designs, displays, brochures, posters, and other publications. The position also provides marketing expertise to committees and assists with special projects and events. Remote work may be considered for residents of British Columbia.

Qualifications:

Two years of post-secondary education in graphic design and two years of related work experience are required. Additional coursework in marketing and communications is an asset. The successful candidate will have artistic vision, creativity, strong concentration, and multitasking skills. They should be a proactive team player capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Experience with PC environments and Adobe Creative Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom), as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential.

Salary:

CUPE Pay Level 4 Step 1, starting at $29.84/hour, progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement (includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
