Welfare Avenue is seeking a passionate Grant Coordinator for a remote volunteer internship focusing on identifying and securing funding opportunities. Responsibilities include grant research and proposal writing to support initiatives that combat poverty and food insecurity. Location : Remote | Time Commitment : 4–6 hours / week | Weekly virtual check-ins

Position Summary
As the Grant coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities to support Welfare Avenue’s programs and initiatives. This role involves researching potential grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and assisting in the overall fundraising strategy. You will work closely with the executive team and various departments to ensure funding goals are met including supporting Welfare Avenue’s strategic goal of transitioning volunteer roles into paid staff positions through successful grant acquisition.
