Job summary

Bunge Vancouver is seeking a General Labourer to support grain handling, receiving, cleaning, storage and shipping in a fast-paced terminal environment. You will operate terminal equipment, participate in safety programs, and help maintain high quality and safety standards daily.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work 6-on/3-off shifts including weekends and holidays, and a commitment to teamwork and attendance. Training and PPE are provided, with comprehensive benefits from Bunge.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating 6-on / 3-off schedule including Day, Afternoon, Graveyard, weekend, and statutory holiday shifts.
• Mandatory: pre-employment physical, drug screening, and respirator fit test.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, shoveling, sweeping, long walking).
• Ability to work safely in a grain handling environment with PPE including respirators.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work independently and in a team; good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to adapt to changing operational requirements and priorities.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping to maintain safety, cleanliness, and standards.
• Support grain receiving, cleaning, storage, inventory management, and shipping operations.
• Operate and monitor terminal equipment and Panel Control Room systems.
• Monitor conditions, identify issues, and report deficiencies.
• Complete inspections, logs, and reports accurately and timely.
• Communicate with Supervisors, Control Room Operators, and maintenance staff to coordinate activities.
• Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on safety and reliability.
