• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for cutting agricultural crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology, and cover crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should have a good team player.
• Farm operations include corn farming, dry pea and bean farming, hay farming, and wheat farming.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience using farm trucks, tractors, fertilizer applicators, haying equipment, planting equipment, seed drills, sweepers, tillage equipment, welding, skidsteers, and hand tools.

Security and safety

• The candidate's driving record should be thoroughly checked (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver's licence.
