Your Role
As Grain Contracts Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Merchandising and Grain Accounting teams.
Day to Day
  • Generating grain invoices for customers, applying payments to invoices and account reconciliation
  • Reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable and processing grain unloads
  • Providing exceptional customer service and entering accounts payable information into the system
  • Grain contract management duties
  • Working closely with the grain merchants to ensure timely execution of commodity delivery
  • Process payments to producers
  • Weekly reporting and monitoring along with month end tasks and responsibilities
  • Working with the grain accounting team as well as our grain locations across Eastern and Western Canada
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Agribusiness, Business Administration or Accounting
  • Experience or background in the grain industry would be considered an asset
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite
