Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral):

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Grafana and Prometheus instances.
• Managing data sources, including Prometheus configurations and target discovery.
• Designing and creating custom dashboards in Grafana to visualize key metrics from Prometheus.
• Utilizing Grafana features like templating, variables, and annotations for dynamic dashboards.
• Defining alerting rules in Prometheus to proactively identify system issues.
• Monitoring and tuning alert thresholds to manage alert fatigue.
• Analyzing metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and root causes.
• Investigating and resolving data discrepancies or anomalies.

Key Expectations:

• Install, configure, and maintain Grafana and Prometheus.
• Manage data sources and target discovery.
• Create dashboards to visualize metrics.
