A leading mining company in Red Lake is seeking a Graduate Rock Mechanic to support geotechnical data collection and analysis while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The position offers a structured 2-year term, transitioning into permanent employment upon successful completion. Strong analytical skills and a degree in Mine Engineering are required. Housing is provided, and the role follows a 5/2, 4/3 work schedule.

The Graduate Rock Mechanic role offers a 2 year term opportunity with the goal of transitioning to permanent employment upon successful completion of the program. You will be involved with geotechnical data collection, analysis, and input into operational planning at the Red Lake Operation, and you will identify and analyse risks associated with Geotechnical hazards within the bounds of the Mining and Quarrying Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
The position will be on a 5 days on/2 days off/4 days on/3 days off schedule (9 hour days) and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario. FIFO is not available. Housing will be provided with a small rental cost to the employee.
