Nova Scotia Health is looking to hire graduate Nurse Practitioners, who will complete their studies in the next 12 months. We aim to foster the next generation of nursing professionals. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will practice autonomously, diagnosing, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and performing procedures within your scope, while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.
The NP adheres to NSCN Standards for Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics, maintaining accountability and engaging in quality improvement activities.
Various permanent, temporary, and casual positions available across Nova Scotia. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly rates range from $58.30 to $68.16, with $70.54/hour for 25+ years of experience. Successful candidates may access health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and pension benefits.
