Nova Scotia Health is seeking graduate Nurse Practitioners who will complete their studies within the next 12 months. We are committed to hiring the next generation of nurses, providing challenging and rewarding opportunities in the nursing field.
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are vital to our healthcare system. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels to join our organization. NPs practice autonomously, diagnosing, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and performing procedures within their scope, while collaborating with healthcare professionals and teams.
NPs adhere to NSCN standards and the Code of Ethics, maintaining accountability for their practice and engaging in quality improvement activities.
Various permanent, temporary assignments, and casual relief roles across Nova Scotia. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly wage: $58.30 - $68.16, with $70.54 for 25+ years of experience.
