Job summary

GHD in Mississauga, Toronto, Markham, Whitby or Waterloo is seeking a Graduate Designer, Electrical. You will work with engineers and project teams to develop design documentation, drawings, and digital models across diverse projects.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation while learning design processes and documentation best practices in a real-world consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate for a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical).
• 0-2 years of experience related to the role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and approach challenges with curiosity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse and multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in contacting suppliers for technical product specifications and pricing will be considered an asset.
• Experience in conducting site inspections or general site reviews for construction project sites will be considered an asset.
• Experience in preparation of reports and construction tender packages will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Applications Software Maintenance: monitor and identify defects and suggest corrections.
