Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Vice-Provost (Graduate Awards and Professional Development) the Graduate l Awards, Finance and Planning Officer administers and facilitates the external and internal scholarship award competitions for graduate students. They will develop and distribute information regarding external and internal award competitions and scholarship opportunities available to graduate students, using a variety of information channels including print, web and presentations.
The Graduate Awards, Finance and Planning Officer is responsible for a variety of financial responsibilities within the Office of Graduate Studies, including the provision of student financial aid advising targeting the graduate student population. They also are responsible for the administration and oversight of the Graduate Studies operating budget, ensuring accurate financial reporting and tracking on behalf of the Office of Graduate Studies. The incumbent also is responsible for the planning and oversight of admission scholarships and internal awards processes in collaboration with the Faculties.
