Job summary

GHD in Toronto (Ontario) is seeking Graduate Intern Architect graduates or upcoming grads to support design, documentation, and delivery across infrastructure, buildings, and community projects. This role offers hybrid work three days in-office per week, exposure to multidisciplinary teams, and mentorship to strengthen practical design and BIM skills.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming degree completion in architecture, architectural engineering, or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience related to the role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with curiosity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to professional development.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

• Understanding of MS Office, REVIT, CAD and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design and documentation across built environment projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings and communication materials under guidance.
• Support planning, design and delivery of projects using Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows.
• Apply Ontario Building Code knowledge to documentation and design tasks.
• Assist with building information modelling (BIM) activities and layout designs.
• Provide construction advice and review based on regulations and best practices.
• Participate in building surveys and assessments with senior staff.
• Support mentorship and development through project involvement.
