The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is one of the largest departments of its kind in North America, with internationally renowned and award-winning faculty. The Graduate and Career’s Program Manager oversees the administration and delivery of the EEB tri-campus graduate programs and career development services for EEB graduate students. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and working closely with the Associate Chair (Graduate Studies) and other faculty leadership, the Manager ensures the effective administration of the EEB graduate programs, advises faculty on graduate matters, and provides academic advising and career development services to support a diverse graduate student population.
This role is key to enhancing the student experience from admission through graduation, developing and delivering program components to foster students' individual career development, building partnerships with employers and alumni, and managing career readiness initiatives, including workshops, seminars, events, and networking opportunities with alumni and employers. The Manager also analyzes statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning, and reviews service delivery and internal processes to recommend improvements.
