Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma and a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of directly-related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to identify wear, damage and maintenance needs on equipment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
• Good problem-solving, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grader and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete orientation and competence checks before operating equipment.
• Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained for reliable operation.
• Maintain year-round yard and road areas for safe use by others.
• Follow safety, regulatory and company policies at all times.
