Job summary

St. Patrick’s Elementary School is seeking to hire a full-time Grade 7 teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to cover a maternity leave.

The successful candidate must demonstrate competency in the BC curriculum while supporting all types of learners, including knowledge of IEPs, adaptations, CPI, and UDL, and work well in a team with EAs and Learning Resource Coordinators. The role includes attending the grade 7 outdoor education overnight camp and participating in our extracurricular sports

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of BC curriculum and standards.
• Experience with IEPs, adaptations, CPI, and UDL is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with EAs, Teachers, and Learning Resource Coordinators.

We are seeking faith filled applicants who can demonstrate competency in the BC curriculum while supporting all types of learners. The successful candidate must have a strong working knowledge of IEPs, adaptations, CPI, and best practices in UDL. They must be able to work in a team atmosphere, collaborating with Educational Assistants, Teachers, and Learning Resource Coordinators. The successful candidate will attend the grade 7 outdoor education overnight camp and be willing to participate in our extra-curricular sports programs which includes coaching.
