Job Description

St. Augustine School is seeking a full-time Grade 6 teacher. This position includes the teaching of all curricular areas, including Christian Education; though, the school employs specialists in PHE, Music, and French. Because we are a double-stream school, the applicant must be able to work collaboratively with the teacher in our other Grade 6 class (we are a double-stream school), Education Assistants, parents, and their fellow teachers and staff members. In addition, the applicant must be proficient in the use of technology; specifically, a proficiency in technology and, in particular, the use of Google Workspace, and the use of programs such Seesaw as well as Second Step in your teaching are also assets. Furthermore, the successful applicant will be involved in extra-curricular activities and the life of the school.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
