Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Security License.
• Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance from the Canadian Government.
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 10 years.
• Provide address and employment history for the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps.
• Hold Canadian citizenship or PR.
• Basic First Aid/OFA 1 certification.
• Class 5 Drivers License.
• Excellent English oral and written skills.
• Strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Access control at the government site.
• Escort construction workers while projects are on site.
• Maintain continuous visual contact with escorted individuals using Temporary Passes.
• Escort individuals to and from uncontrolled, restricted, and sterile areas.
• Verify all Temporary Passes against lost and stolen lists prior to entry.
• Notify appropriate parties on entry and exit from the facility.
• Report safety or security incidents to the Senior Escort.
• Ensure required escort ratios are maintained at all times.
