A leading audio streaming platform is looking for a Manager of Canada Government Affairs to lead advocacy efforts on crucial public policy issues. This role requires fluency in both English and French, strong understanding of Canadian policy dynamics, and over 5 years of relevant experience. The position allows flexibility in working location, with the expectation to travel as needed.
The Government Affairs team is charged with understanding the global and local policy landscape in relation to Spotify’s business objectives and advocating on the company’s behalf on critical public policy issues. We represent the company before legislators and regulators, see around corners, and mitigate potential risks.
We are seeking to recruit an exceptional candidate to join our Government Affairs team as Manager of Canada Government Affairs . In this role, you will work as part of the global government affairs team, coordinating closely with subject matter experts on the team, as well as other groups throughout Spotify in order to develop thoughtful, effective, consistent positions on the issues of greatest importance to our company.
You will report to the Director of Government Affairs for the US & Canada and you may be based in Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal.
