Aplin, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with an area of the Government of Alberta in NE Edmonton to recruit an Administrative Assistant for a 1-month opportunity with the possibility for extension. This role will start on April 28th.
Responsibilities:
Handling incoming phone calls and walk-ins
Filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning
Assisting with email correspondence
Coding and paying invoices
Data entry
Typing briefings for advisors
Putting together packages
Records Management duties
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the Government of Alberta
Experience in SharePoint will be an asset
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
A quick learner with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
