Aplin, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with an area of the Government of Alberta in NE Edmonton to recruit an Administrative Assistant for a 1-month opportunity with the possibility for extension. This role will start on April 28th.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming phone calls and walk-ins
  • Filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning
  • Assisting with email correspondence
  • Coding and paying invoices
  • Data entry
  • Typing briefings for advisors
  • Putting together packages
  • Records Management duties

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the Government of Alberta
  • Experience in SharePoint will be an asset
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • A quick learner with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
