The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting information security programs of various sensitivities, developing, updating, and reviewing IT security policies, standards, and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

You as an Information Security Analyst:

• Develop, update, maintain, and review IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Understand relevant regulations, standards, and government contract requirements.
• Collaborate across the organization to conduct risk assessments, evaluate new technologies, and review vendor contracts.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Monitor and report on risk levels, assessments, and compliance.
• Provide training on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Work with IT teams to ensure secure design and implementation of systems and processes.
• Participate in data governance initiatives.
• Review and advise on IT-related contracts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary education in IT, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance in Information Security.
• Knowledge of industry frameworks like NIST.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting government sensitive projects.
• Ability to obtain Level II (Secret) clearance supported by EllisDon.
• Ability to work in our Mississauga or London offices.
