Job summary

Podtech Data Centers Inc. is seeking a Compliance Professional to support the SOX program, map controls, collect evidence, and drive remediation. You will monitor changes, conduct risk assessments, and assist audits with a focus on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 alignment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage control documentation, and handle vendor risk reviews while ensuring accurate evidence collection and timely remediation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, cybersecurity or similar required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance team.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining policies and performing risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the SOX compliance program end to end: control walkthroughs and testing (ITGCs), map processes to controls, collect evidence, track deficiencies to remediation.
  • Monitor regulatory/industry changes and update controls, policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Conduct and support risk assessments: identify risks, assess likelihood/impact, and work with control owners on remediation plans.
  • Support internal and external audit processes (SOX focus): prepare documentation and respond to control owner queries.
  • Create, review and maintain policies, standards and procedures aligned with SOX, SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls are implemented and maintained.
  • Participate in third-party/vendor risk reviews and remediation follow-up.
  • Manage compliance requests, evidence collection and remediation tasks via ticketing systems.

Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, cybersecurity or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a compliance team.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX (including IT general controls), with working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
  • Good analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining policies and performing risk assessments.
  • Experienced user of ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk) for managing compliance workflows.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools
Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure controls are implemented and effectively maintained.
  • Participate in third-party/vendor risk reviews, helping to gather documentation and follow up remediation steps.
  • Manage compliance requests, evidence collection and remediation tasks through ticketing systems, keeping records accurate and up to date.
Compensation
  • The expected base salary for this role starts at $105-125K annually CAD.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
  • Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, and equity (long-term incentive)
