Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst

Position Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and skilled GRC Analyst to join our growing IT team. Reporting directly into the IT manager, you will be responsible for handling our governance, risk, and compliance policies and frameworks. This position will be responsible for handling our internal and external risk assessments, like client audits and internal third party risk assessments, hand in hand with the wider IT team. This position will guide the team and company through needed compliance improvements and risk assessments, with an ideal goal of completing a SOC 2 Type II certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain our governance, risk management, and compliance policies and frameworks, with a future facing roadmap of SOC2 Type II certification
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver timely responses to security surveys for clients and customers
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies in the Trust center
• Complete Third Party Risk Assessments for software and applications
• Auditing internal IT systems for compliance in partnership with the IT team and internal stakeholders
• Writing and reviewing IT policies and auditing the company’s governance, risk management, and compliance policies and procedures to assure alignment with strategic goals

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Security and Compliance
• Experience in a SaaS first company with a remote workforce a plus
• Experience with client and vendor compliance audits
• Experienced with completing Third Party Risk Management reports
• Experience with SOC 2 and ISO frameworks
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Vanta a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong capacity for collaborative work.
