This is a remote-first role, with a preference for candidates based in: Toronto (ON), Montreal (QC) or Austin (TX). Any candidate who is legally entitled to work in Canada or the US without sponsorship is welcome to apply.

About the Role

This is your chance to build and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions using Google’s most advanced tools, including Vertex AI and Google Agentspace. As part of our high-performing Cloud Engineering team, you’ll take the lead in designing, implementing, and enabling AI agents and platforms that help our clients create meaningful, agentic experiences.

You’ll collaborate directly with clients and Google teams, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and bring generative AI to life through real-world impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy custom GenAI agents and models using Vertex AI.
• Develop APIs, applications, and tools to support Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication.
• Customize and lead client-facing workshops and GenAI enablement sessions.
• Collaborate with Google Cloud Architects to implement full-stack GenAI solutions.
• Translate customer needs into secure, scalable technical architectures.
• Stay on top of GenAI trends, LLM advancements, and Google’s evolving AI tools.
• Be a highly visible and active contributor throughout the sales cycle, from product development, to pre-sales, and post-sales.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices for deploying and managing Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud.
• Complete customer onboarding sessions, security reviews, Landing Zone setups, and infrastructure assessments to evaluate migration and deployments to GCP.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in deploying and working with AI/ML platforms, including Google Cloud Vertex AI Platform, Conversational Agents and related tooling and APIs (examples: Vertex AI Search, Dialogflow, Document AI).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with developing and deploying applications, including APIs (e.g. REST, gRPC).
• 1+ Google Cloud certification required(Generative AI Leader, Machine Learning Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer preferred)
• Strong coding skills (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go).
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI model deployment.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services and fundamentals.
• Comfort presenting complex technical content to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote environment.

You Might Thrive Even More If You Bring

• Experience deploying Vertex AI and developing custom agents.
• Familiarity with Google’s Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Hands-on experience with Google Agentspace.
• Google Cloud SDK / ADK proficiency.
• Bilingual (English/French) is a bonus.
