Lora Bay, part of the Great Gulf Group, is seeking Golf Shop Attendants to join our team in Thornbury. You will welcome members and guests, manage tee-time bookings, and maintain the Pro Shop while delivering exceptional service in all weather conditions.

We offer full-time or part-time roles starting immediately through October, with training and staff benefits. A neat appearance and strong teamwork are essential as you help create memorable experiences for guests on the bay.

Qualifications

• High school–level English communication skills.
• Prior experience in golf or front desk operations is an asset.
• Prior retail experience is an asset.
• Excellent public relations skills.
• Must excel in customer service.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Organized and energetic approach to responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Pro Shop, with nightly reporting and pass-along.
• Maintain Pro Shop cleanliness and displays; rotate merchandise regularly.
• Attend the reservations line, book tee times and answer inquiries.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist members and guests with questions and concerns.
• Coordinate with Outside Services team and support events.
• Handle guest complaints and report to the Head Golf Professional.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Lora Bay is seeking professional and reliable Golf Shop Attendants to join our team in Thornbury.

The Golf Shop Attendant ensures the enjoyment and first‑class experience of our members and guests, while maintaining policies, procedures, and golf shop operations.

Full‑time or part‑time positions are available, starting immediately through October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the Pro Shop, including nightly reporting and pass‑along
• Maintaining Pro Shop cleanliness and tidiness at all times
• Maintaining displays and rotate merchandise on a regular basis to ensure a fresh look in the Pro Shop, sell Pro Shop merchandise
• Attending to the reservations line, book tee times and answering inquiries
• Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform all duties in accordance with daily procedures
• Assisting members/guests with questions and concerns
• Staying in constant contact with the Outside Services team
• Contributing to the coordination of all member and guest events and functions
• Maintaining the communications book
• Handling guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner, report complaints to the Head Golf Professional
• Assisting the Outside Services team when required
• Performing all other duties as assigned

Work Arrangement:

Compensation:

• Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
