Golf Maintenance Labourer (Seasonal, June to October)

Join us at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for a seasonal position as a Golf Maintenance Labourer from June to October. Located in the stunning Canadian Rockies, our resort offers a unique work environment where you can enjoy breathtaking scenery and develop your skills in golf course maintenance.

Job Description

As a Golf Maintenance Labourer, reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating equipment and power tools such as utility vehicles, mowers, and tractors
  • Mowing, trimming, irrigating, and fertilizing turf areas
  • Maintaining sand traps and cart paths
  • Setting tee markers and hole placements on greens
  • Ensuring all equipment is fueled, fluid levels are maintained, and equipment is clean and safe to operate
  • Reporting equipment issues promptly
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is an asset
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License required
  • Understanding of golf rules and etiquette
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • CPR and First Aid certification are assets
  • Experience operating machinery such as snowplows, graders, bobcats, and John Deere tractors is a plus
