Club de Golf Hautes Plaines is Hiring: Superintendent in Training

Your pathway to a leadership role in the Turf Management Industry starts here!

We are currently seeking a Superintendent in Training to join our team at Club de Golf Hautes Plaines. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about golf course management and looking to develop their career alongside an energetic and dedicated team.

In this role, you will act as an Assistant Superintendent, supporting daily operations and course maintenance. You will work closely with the current Superintendent throughout the 2025 season and transition into the Superintendent role in 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assess and report on the daily condition of the golf course

· Support and align with ClubLink’s internal policies and management practices

· Enforce ClubLink’s Health & Safety and Golf Course Maintenance policy manuals

· Take on management responsibilities in the Superintendent's absence

· Assist with staff training on machinery and enforce safety procedures

· Help maintain buildings, equipment, and property to high standards

· Support pesticide and fertilizer management in line with IPM practices

· Troubleshoot and assist with irrigation system maintenance and repair

What We're Looking For:

· A minimum of 2 years of formal education, diploma, or degree in turf management

· Availability to work flexible hours as needed

· A proactive, organized, and energetic approach to responsibilities

· A valid Quebec Pesticide’s Licence

· Leadership qualities and strong communication skills

· Knowledge of irrigation systems and automated controls
