Job description

We are seeking a passionate, hardworking and dedicated experienced Golf Course Machinery and Cylinder Sharpening Mechanic/Engineer for our thriving family business.

Do you have the aspirations to work with the latest technologies and innovations, within a family run industry leading business? If so, this position is for you!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on Golf Course Machinery, in-house and at customer locations
  • Carry out cylinder and bottom blade sharpening
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and set up on new or used equipment.
  • Completion of job-related administration and reports (App driven job stories/CCMS/ timesheets etc).
  • Maintain a tidy and organised workstation with an element of pride.
  • Competent carrying out diagnostics on a variety of equipment.
  • Comply with company health & safety rules and regulations.
  • Competent IT skills.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A positive can-do attitude and mindset.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Vehicle driving licence essential.
  • Ideally familiar with John Deere, Stihl, and competitive products.
