Job summary

Golf Town is seeking a Department Manager of Fashion Apparel to craft a compelling fashion story on the floor and ensure seamless merchandise flow from stockroom to display. You will be accountable for an exceptional customer experience, up-to-date staff training, and smooth day-to-day operations.

You will drive sales through engaging visual storytelling, train and coach staff, and uphold brand standards while coordinating inventory and creating a customer-ready store environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a Fashion retail environment or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of clothing/apparel merchandising is required.
• Previous management experience would be an asset.
• Affinity for luxury sport apparel and an interest in golf.
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment.
• Prior clothing merchandising and stock planning responsibility required.
• Ability to execute company standards successfully.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt to meet a wide range of customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the sales floor to deliver an exceptional customer experience, drive sales performance, and act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
• Schedule, coach, and motivate team members to ensure optimal staffing levels, strong customer service, product knowledge, and achievement of sales goals.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of service standards.
• Execute merchandising, visual presentation, pricing, promotional, and inventory standards to maximize sales opportunities and maintain brand consistency.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory flow between the stockroom and sales floor, and communicate product, inventory, and staffing needs to management.
• Support associate training, performance development, and ongoing compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales training programs.
• Lead team communications through daily huddles and participate in store management meetings to align on priorities and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, loss prevention, and cash handling procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
