Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Bogart's Jewellers in search of a full-time permanent Goldsmith.

The Goldsmith will report to upper management and be responsible for crafting and repairing jewelry pieces using a variety of tools and techniques.

Bogart's Jewellers is a locally owned and operated jewellery store in Newfoundland. They have seven locations across Newfoundland to serve customers since 1992. They care about their customers and being a part of the special moments in their life.

The Job

  • Perform day-to-day jewellery repair
  • Finish new castings, including soldering, diamond/gemstone setting & tightening, sizing rings, re-tipping prongs, polishing, and rhodium plating for all types of metals including silver, gold, and platinum.
  • Other duties as required to support the team.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Goldsmith or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for jewelry making
  • Understanding of various metals and gemstones
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Experience with Computer Aided Jewellery Design (CAD) would be an asset.
