Stripe is seeking a Golang-focused engineer to shape the developer experience for their SDKs that power a large portion of Stripe’s API surface. You’ll lead API design discussions and contribute to multi-language SDKs, collaborating across teams to release APIs in the SDKs and improve tooling.

The role emphasizes open-source collaboration, language feature additions, and mentorship within the SDKs team, contributing to a robust developer ecosystem.

Formación

• 6+ years in engineering across a wide range of products.
• 3+ years of experience as a Golang software engineer.
• Interest in working with multiple programming languages.
• Passion for API design and developer experience.

Responsabilidades

• Be the Golang expert on the team, representing the needs of the Golang community and ensuring idiomatic experiences.
• Improve the code generation framework with your Node.js expertise and help open-source it for SDK owners.
• Collaborate with Stripe teams to release APIs in the SDKs and improve release efficiency.
• Help streamline the API authoring process at Stripe.
• Support open-source SDK users on the GitHub repositories for our SDKs.
• Add support for new language features in SDKs.
• Help lead the API design process with product teams to create powerful abstractions.
• Collaborate, mentor, and support other team members.
