Description

Reporting to the Manager of Operations Support within the Procurement and Systems Optimization Secretariat (PSOS), the role involves securing contract signatures from vendors, facilitating procurement processes, and maintaining contracts within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. The position ensures compliance with Canadian trade agreements and organizational policies, including routing audits and FOIP information requests. Responsibilities also include training personnel on records management policies and supporting access to financial and supply chain systems to promote high-quality, patient-centric healthcare in Alberta.

This position manages user access and accounts within procurement systems, maintaining corporate accounts for Alberta Health Services (AHS) and external portals like Grand & Toy and Amazon, as well as setting up external customer accounts and Oracle roles.

Key Duties
  • Proofing and formatting system access documents
  • Record tracking in Excel
  • Handling phone calls and emails
  • Creating necessary documents
  • Acting as a stakeholder point of contact
  • Providing contract administrative support to Contract Coordinators
  • Reviewing requests from the AHS Contracting department
  • Processing and triaging submitted requests
  • Supporting access to online platforms
Note

This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, with potential in-office requirements in Edmonton, Alberta, with reasonable notice. Travel expenses within Alberta are covered by the Province.

Working Hours & Location
  • Standard hours: 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays
  • Location: Edmonton, AB
