Job description

Position Overview

OneRiver Software provides innovative software solutions that help asset-intensive organizations improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and work execution within their existing ERP environments. Our Arrow scheduling platform and Cornerstone integration technology help organizations using SAP and Oracle improve maintenance performance, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

We are seeking a technically minded, commercially driven Go-to-Market Engineer to build an AI-powered engine that identifies prospective customers, generates market interest, and creates a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.

This is a hands-on builder role for someone who can combine artificial intelligence, data, automation, and B2B marketing to create a scalable customer acquisition system. The successful candidate will take ownership of the technology and processes that connect OneRiver's solutions with the organizations that need them most.

Key Responsibilities
1. Build an AI-Powered Go-to-Market Infrastructure
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve an AI-driven prospecting and demand-generation engine.

  • Build automated workflows and AI agents to research target companies, identify relevant decision-makers, personalize communications, and manage follow-up activities.

  • Integrate AI tools with CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, and analytics platforms.

  • Experiment with emerging AI technologies to increase productivity, improve targeting, and scale customer acquisition.

2. Identify and Prioritize Target Accounts
  • Develop and maintain an ideal customer profile focused on large multinational organizations in oil and gas, mining, metals, and other asset-intensive industries.

  • Identify companies using SAP or Oracle ERP environments and determine where OneRiver's Arrow and Cornerstone solutions could deliver meaningful operational and financial value.

  • Research organizations' maintenance operations, business challenges, technology environments, and potential buying signals.

  • Identify and map key stakeholders, including maintenance and reliability leaders, planning and scheduling managers, operations executives, and ERP/IT decision-makers.

  • Build and maintain a prioritized database of target accounts and qualified prospects.

3. Generate Interest and Build the Sales Pipeline
  • Develop and execute targeted, multi-channel outreach campaigns using email, LinkedIn, relevant content, and other effective channels.

  • Create compelling, personalized messaging that demonstrates how OneRiver helps organizations build better maintenance schedules, mitigate execution risks, and get more planned work completed.

  • Use AI to produce and optimize prospect-specific communications, campaign content, landing pages, and follow-up sequences.

  • Establish processes to convert prospect engagement into qualified meetings and sales opportunities.

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure generated opportunities align with enterprise sales priorities and have a clear business rationale.

4. Measure, Optimize, and Scale
  • Establish dashboards and measurable performance indicators for target-account coverage, prospect engagement, qualified meetings, sales opportunities, and pipeline contribution.

  • Test and refine targeting strategies, messaging, channels, and automated workflows to improve conversion rates.

  • Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the GTM engine using data and experimentation.

  • Ensure all prospecting and outreach activities follow applicable privacy, anti-spam, and data-protection requirements.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience building AI-enabled workflows, marketing automation systems, sales development infrastructure, or growth-engineering solutions.

  • Strong practical knowledge of AI tools, large language models, APIs, automation platforms, data enrichment, and CRM integrations.

  • Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, n8n, Make, or equivalent tools.

  • Understanding of B2B demand generation, account-based marketing, prospect qualification, and enterprise sales pipelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure outcomes and optimize performance.

  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop relevant messaging for senior business and technical audiences.

  • A self-starter who enjoys building systems from the ground up, takes ownership of results, and thrives in a growing software company.

Preferred: Experience with enterprise software, SAP or Oracle ecosystems, EAM/CMMS, industrial maintenance, or selling to multinational organizations in asset-intensive industries. Experience with Python, SQL, data pipelines, or custom AI-agent development is an asset.

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be measured by the candidate's ability to:

  • Build a functioning, scalable AI-powered prospecting and demand-generation infrastructure.

  • Establish a prioritized pipeline of target accounts and relevant decision-makers.

  • Generate meaningful engagement and qualified sales meetings with ideal customers.

  • Increase the volume and quality of sales-qualified opportunities and pipeline.

  • Reduce the time and cost required to generate qualified opportunities while continuously improving conversion rates.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a builder who combines technical ingenuity with commercial instinct. They understand how to use AI, data, and automation to create repeatable business growth - not simply execute traditional marketing campaigns.

This is an opportunity to build a modern go-to-market engine for a specialized enterprise software company, with a direct and measurable impact on OneRiver Software's growth.
