Your role

We are looking for someone with solid experience developing complex applications and who’s not afraid to tackle hard challenges. You must enjoy building resilient and performant coding routines, be comfortable debating with colleagues to find optimal solutions and be eager to automate your software development workflows.

As a Go Developer you will :

Participate in upholding coding best practices and code quality through code reviews.

Design and implement performant and scalable programming routines to perform the actions for which the system is designed;

Lead activities to elaborate technical solutions based on design patterns to translate hard product requirements into system features;

Instrumentalize applications / systems with logs and metrics so that the team can proactively identify and address potential performance and reliability issues;

Design and implement data structures that are generic in nature but allow for a very high level of composition and specificity;

Implement mechanisms to allow highly configurable and dynamic operation environments;

Build tools and processes to validate data models against a specific configuration programmatically;

Design APIs adhering to recognized industry standards and best practices;

Build and integrate the tools to allow for API usage and statistics to be collected and analyzed;

Configure repositories, coding environments, IDEs and other tools to automate most tasks and to standardize the developer experience across the board;

Develop CI / CD pipelines to enforce coding standards, code quality and efficient deployments across many different ecosystems and environments.

Participate in incident response sessions to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.

In terms of skills, you should have :

Solid development experience with Go.

Proven track record building event-driven applications based on distributed event store and stream-processing platform technologies like Kafka and RedPanda.

Solid experience working on distributed applications / systems and addressing concurrency issues.

Strong experience building applications / systems using document and relational graph databases like Elastic and Postgres.

Experience with testing frameworks for end-to-end testing as well as performance testing such as Grafana K6.

Experience working with containerized applications (Docker).

Experience with observability tools and practices (such as Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus) is considered a strong asset.

Experience configuring CI / CD pipelines and working with other automation tools.
