Job summary

Natural Factors is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead complex engineering initiatives and capital projects across HVAC, air handling, and utility systems in a GMP manufacturing environment. The role demands ownership of reliability improvements, environmental controls, and compliance, with a preference for a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• 5-8 years engineering experience supporting HVAC, ventilation, boiler, steam, or facility infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, environmental controls, dust collection, boilers, steam, utilities, and mechanical infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of engineering and capital improvement projects from concept to commissioning in GMP or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and optimization of HVAC, ventilation, dust collection, boiler, steam, and utility systems in GMP manufacturing.
• Drive initiatives that improve safety, compliance, product quality, equipment performance, and energy efficiency.
• Serve as the site's technical lead and liaison with external engineering consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, including budgeting, design review, installation coordination, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Validation, and other stakeholders to deliver infrastructure improvements.
