Job summary

A health and beauty company in Toronto, Canada is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure that all machinery and equipment remain in good working condition. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a Welding License, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding License required, with previous fabrication experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of electronic controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed filling, labeling, and packaging machines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Apply working knowledge of electrical systems for repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance work orders and maintain records.
• Organize and maintain maintenance shop and tools.
• Identify and report workplace hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
