Job summary

Aurora Cannabis is hiring a Maintenance Technician (Millwright) to support our GMP-compliant cannabis manufacturing facility in Bradford, ON. You will install, maintain and repair processing equipment, ensuring reliability and safety in a highly regulated environment.

The role offers a full-time permanent position with morning shifts and a starting hourly wage of CAD 36–40, with opportunities for growth, training and benefits as part of the Aurora A-Team.

Qualifications

• 433A Industrial Mechanic certification required.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Experience with GMP and GDP standards is an asset.
• Experience with CMMS is an asset.
• Knowledge of sanitary design principles and contamination controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission processing and facility equipment.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair.
• Execute precision alignment, calibration, and balancing of mechanical systems.
• Weld and fabricate to support upgrades with sanitary standards.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs and technical manuals; document maintenance activities.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and lifecycle.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and contamination control.
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset history in CMMS.
