Job summary

A global life sciences company in Toronto seeks a candidate to prepare media and reagents, perform quality control, and ensure compliance with GMP standards. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience with microbiology techniques and laboratory equipment, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Qualifications

• Competent technical laboratory skills not requiring constant supervision.
• Familiarity with instrumentation/equipment handling.
• Ability to learn new techniques and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and following Quality System documents and procedures.
• Preparation and documentation of media and reagents.
• Performing daily calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Cleaning and decontaminating labware.
