GMP Kilo Lab Specialist – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are looking for a GMP Kilo Lab Specialist to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This role will focus on process development, GMP kilo lab manufacturing, and new product introductions (NPI) for highly potent APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful scale-up and transfer of processes from development to commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale up development projects in the GMP kilo lab, including proof-of-concept studies and process safety assessments.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer processes from lab to kilo scale.
• Ensure equipment qualification and GMP compliance for batch manufacturing.
• Lead process troubleshooting and improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and SHE teams.
• Support customer development projects and ensure robust, efficient manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a GMP kilo lab or pilot plant.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements for clinical stage manufacturing.
• Experience with kilo-scale glass reactors and process equipment.
• Familiarity with chromatography, nanofiltration, freeze drying, or high-potency API handling is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
