The role we are offering you:
As a Global Security Travel Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and administering organizational security plans and operations. Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, manage damage, vandalism, loss prevention, and other security risk programs, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. Compiles data for loss control and accident reports. Supports and conducts internal investigations according to legal and company policies.
Are you ready to:
- Advise and guide the CSO and RSM regarding cross-border and country-specific threats, supporting security operations; prepare security threat alerts, notices, warnings, and advisories.
- Establish liaison with government agencies and intelligence providers for cross-border analysis due to shared threats.
- Contribute to security plans for specific countries or regions by conducting threat and risk assessments.
- Analyze trends in security incidents affecting the organization.
- Identify threat actors through field research and liaise with host government security contacts.
- Develop security information requirements and risk assessments.
- Research specific threat factors and support the Crisis Management Team during security incidents.
- Prepare early warning reports and indicators on security threats for planning purposes.
- Maintain dialogue with local authorities and international institutions.
- Coordinate security threat assessments with local contacts and liaise with government and intelligence agencies.
- Disseminate strategic assessments and security trend information to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in Security Group meetings.
- Maintain awareness of prevailing security conditions, analyze incident trends, and advise on potential impacts.
- Prepare analytical reports on security incidents.
- Perform other research and analytical tasks as directed.
- Evaluate travel security providers and monitor travel incidents, providing guidance and corrective actions.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A degree in criminology or related certification.
- At least two years of experience in security activities.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, tracking software, and incident notification systems.
- A strong understanding of international relations, politics, economics, history, and military strategy.
- Creative thinking and motivation to work independently and in teams.
- Dedication, professionalism, and effective communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English and French, both written and spoken (English required for daily tasks).
