The role we are offering you:
As a Global Security Travel Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and administering organizational security plans and operations. Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, day-to-day damage, vandalism, loss prevention and other related security risk programs and meets required codes and regulations. Compiles data for loss control and accident reports. Supports and conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. Are you ready to:
- Advise and provide guidance to the CSO and RSM with regards to cross borders and Countries specific threats, in support of security operations; prepares briefing materials such as periodic security threat information alerts, notices, warnings, and advisories on security threats.
- Establish liaison with Government Agencies and Intel providers to coordinate cross border analysis, due to the shared operational space by threat actors.
- Contribute to the preparation of security plans for a designated country, or geographic area by conducting country-specific threat and risk assessments.
- Analyze trends of security incidents affecting the organization.
- Identify, through field research of threat actors, the operating environment of CAE in liaison with host governments' security interlocutors. Develop security information requirements.
- Develop security risk assessments.
- Conduct research on specific threat factors, support activities of the Crisis Management Team responding to specific security incidents.
- Prepare early warning reports and indicators on security threats, as a planning tool for the CSO & RSM.
- Establish and maintain dialogue with local authorities and international institutions.
- Establish lines of communication with local points of contacts, for coordination of security threat assessment requirements; liaise with Gov Organizations and Intel Providers on the development of security threat information; liaise with security interlocutors to inform on threat actors and the operating environment of CAE.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to disseminate processed information on strategic assessments on trends of security threats in related regions.
- Participate in Security Group meetings.
- Maintain continuing awareness of prevailing security conditions for region of coverage, developing technical knowledge and awareness of security threat environments, identifying probable threats by preparation of profiles of threat actors impacting the security environment in which CAE operates, and analyzing trends of security incidents potentially affecting CAE, advising on potential impacts of threats on the relevant CAE staff accordingly.
- Prepare analytical reports on security incidents in-country and the border areas.
- Perform other analytical and research assignments and tasks as directed by the CSO.
- Evaluate travel security providers.
- Monitor travel incidents and proceed accordingly to the process.
- Provide security guidance in the various stages of security travel.
- Advise and participate in responding to any issue of the Security Travel, identify the root cause and recommend corrective and preventive actions to apply.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Degree in criminology or other certification in this field of expertise.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar security activities.
- Understanding of security frameworks, standards, and guidelines.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, different tracking software and incident notification systems.
- This type of work requires a strong understanding of international relations, politics and government, economics, religion, history, and military strategy and tactics. Such knowledge is important in order to provide relevant and comprehensive assessment of security issues. Some of this knowledge is learned through training, as well as post-secondary and/or post-graduate education and/or work experience.

- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to various audiences.
- Possess a professional level of English and French, both written and spoken (English is a requirement to accomplish daily tasks).
