MTU Maintenance Canada is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to join the Logistics team in Delta. You will ensure compliant movement of goods across domestic and international markets, manage export licences, and provide guidance on international trade procedures.

You will work with ITAR/EAR, HS classifications, and COO documentation, supporting audits and implementing risk mitigations. The role requires collaboration with global teams and adherence to Canadian and international trade laws.

Competenze

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in customs compliance, export controls, logistics, or international trade.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, EIPA and CGP, tariff classification (HS code) and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA).
• Experience with customs brokers and freight carriers.
• CCS designation or willingness to obtain is preferred; CGP clearance required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; familiarity with shipping platforms is a plus.

Mansioni

• Ensure compliance with export and import regulations, including ITAR, EAR, EIPA and CGP; provide guidance and training.
• Update and maintain product classifications in SAP, including HS codes and ECCNs.
• Maintain and audit trade compliance records, COO documentation, and HS code classifications.
• Assist with internal audits of shipping and customs processes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure PNs have compliant trade data in ERP.
• Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders and customers on outbound shipments.
• Track import/export duties with brokers and dispute incorrect calculations.
• Support Global Trade Services processes and sanction screening where needed.
• Coordinate with government agencies regarding licenses and permits for exports.
