What will be your daily pursuit?

Your daily pursuit is to lead and manage a geographically dispersed team of seasonal and full-time reservations agents.

When does this adventure begin?

This is a regular, full-time position beginning in May 2025.

What will you do in this job?

  • Assist with developing and implementing best-in-class reservations processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability aligned across all Pursuit geographies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Revmax, other reservation departments, and Operations teams required.
  • Serve as a key liaison to travel trade partners, resolving escalated issues and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Lead change management efforts within the team as systems and processes evolve.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure service level targets are met or exceeded.
  • Create and maintain onboarding and training materials, SOPs, and quality standards for the reservations team.
  • Evaluate seasonal workforce planning needs and manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of temporary staff.
  • Review reporting weekly on performance of the hotels / attractions and review with appropriate sales team members.
  • Strive for 12-month balanced workloads from a workforce management perspective.
  • Extend booking windows for groups, partners and consumer direct alike.
  • Monitor goals and scoring results as determined by Sr Manager for the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a travel trade, reservations, or a related operations leadership role.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (oral and written); secondary language skills is an asset.
  • Mature and possess a proven ability to work independently within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Deep understanding of travel trade dynamics and B2B customer expectations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable taking phone calls with guests, trade partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and share when manual processes are cumbersome and need to be changed.
  • Move to automate as many processes as possible. Come to the table with solutions.
