Global Reservation Agent, Travel Trade

What will be your daily pursuit?: Your daily pursuit is being a welcoming first point of contact for guest queries & reservations, providing a seamless, safe, and enjoyable experience.

What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this role is $18.20 per hour.

What will you do in this job?: Make, maintain, and change reservations for all Banff Jasper Collection owned Hotels, Attractions, FlyOver Canada, Brewster Express, and Brewster Sightseeing. Handle phone calls, emails, and chat inquiries. Qualify and upsell potential clients. Maintain accurate reservations and information in reservation systems. Assist guests with questions while maintaining high customer service standards. Build and maintain rapport with travel trade partners. Collaborate with Sales Managers on key accounts and with Operations Supervisors and team members.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?: 1-2 years' experience in a call center environment preferred. Fluent in English; secondary language skills are an asset. Mature, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Courteous telephone manners. Proficient with computers. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Previous sales experience with upselling ability. Knowledge of Maestro is an asset. Willing to consent to a criminal record check as part of our commitment to honesty.
