Your role and responsibilities

The Global Planning and Fulfillment Manager is responsible for designing and deploying strategies, best practices, and solutions for the Planning and Fulfillment function at the Global Business Line level. This is done in collaboration with all local operation sites to ensure strong alignment both globally and locally.In line with this mandate, the role ensures effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, resource allocation, and short-term planning processes while optimizing the business's net working capital.Core responsibilities:- Develop, communicate, and implement planning and fulfillment strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.- Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of S&OP and inventory management best practices across all business units.- Drive end-to-end process optimization to reduce lead times, minimize inventory levels, and improve customer delivery performance.- Lead and contribute to cross-functional planning initiatives to optimize delivery times, inventory, lead times, and forecast accuracy.- Ensure on-time customer delivery while minimizing under- and over-absorption and associated operational costs.- Provide inclusive coaching and development opportunities to local teams on processes and systems.- Establish and lead processes to ensure capacity is aligned with demand forecasts and that production plans are adhered to.- Lead and support the global deployment of inventory management best practices.

Qualifications for the role
  • To be successful in this role, you bring:
  • A strong foundation in planning and fulfillment, supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. You typically have 8 or more years of experience in operations or a similar domain, including at least 3 years in a leadership or global coordination role where you have guided teams and driven strategic initiatives.
  • You are confident navigating complex systems and processes, with hands-on experience in budget and performance management, strategic implementation, and data analysis.
  • You have successfully led projects from concept to execution and possess a deep understanding of inventory control, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Your technical toolkit includes working knowledge of SAP, advanced planning and scheduling systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You are not only fluent in using these tools, but also skilled at leveraging them to create value, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable results.
