Job summary

Vialto Partners is seeking a Senior Manager to serve as a tax technical business partner, guiding clients through global mobility tax strategy and policy design. You will leverage local and global teams across payroll, immigration, and automation to reduce tax-related risks.

You will work with clients in diverse industries, mentoring teams, delivering compliant tax returns, and advising on foreign assignment structures and treaties. The role is hybrid with opportunities in major Canadian cities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of tax experience.
• Experience in expatriate/global mobility tax policy and administration design.
• Proven ability to develop and negotiate pricing strategies with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Vialto teams, building trust and developing talent.
• Review and sign tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees.
• Provide specialized tax advice on assignments, policy, and mobility issues.
• Collaborate with clients’ finance and HR departments to ensure accurate payroll tax reporting.
• Identify cross-functional opportunities and grow client portfolios through insight-driven recommendations.
