Job Description

As a Tax Associate, you will work as a part of a team of professionals helping to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Preparation of Canadian and / or US personal income tax returns and related forms / deliverables
  • Research and drafting of tax technical memos.
  • Interaction with clients to provide advice in relation to tax matters associated with their international employment.
  • Engage with team members to service clients and bring value to their organization.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

Preferred Knowledge And Skills

  • Exposure to Canadian and / or US individual tax knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in client facing roles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple work assignments.
  • Experience with MS Excel and / or other tools such as Alteryx

Additional Information

  • This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of a minimum of two days / week in office. Available locations include : Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver
  • Compensation range : $60,000 to $85,000 CAD
