Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Co-op Analyst for its Global Markets group in Toronto. You will be embedded on a desk, contributing to pricing, risk analyses, data analytics, and client materials.

The program includes onboarding, training, and professional development with senior leaders. Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergraduate degree with Finance/Engineering/CS/Math/Stats focus, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and interest in front/back-end tech tools.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree with expected Spring 2028–2030 graduation.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities with data interpretation.
• Demonstrated interest in finance and markets; rigorous reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing and risk models and support desk analyses.
• Capture market data, build displays in Excel, and prepare client materials.
• Assist trading, sales and strategy teams with data analytics.
• Prepare client presentations and trade ideas in PowerPoint/Excel.
• Shadow trading professionals and participate in onboarding activities.
